My Bio

Born and live in Tallinn, Estonia.

Spoken languages: Russian, English, Estonian, German, Ukrainian.

You're welcome!

Drawing/painting for as long as I can remember myself, and luckily, I have had long periods of more or less systematic training:

- some painting studio in childhood

- 5 years of arts school (not finished, lack of time )

- 3.5 years of Orthodox icon painting in Tallinn Alexander Nevsky Cathedral.

In 2008-09 got a simple Wacom Bamboo One as a gift, in 2010 began using it with some success and I still do. I like other materials too (pencils, pens, acrylic, oil, tempera...).

I am a proud owner of a computer museum, a sci-fi and space fan. Other dimensions, civilizations, technologies and all sorts of game worlds and realms interest me most.

Different times - different problems. While I was mostly using a Wacom tablet, it was difficult to find time to draw something, but at least I could be sure that the result seen to other people has correct colors, contrast, brightness etc. Now that I work more with traditional media (this period began about a year ago), the trouble is the scanner. The only one I can use is at work, and it always ruins the colors and brightness, especially those of the drawings, that are made on "kraft" paper (see Sketches folder). I have to spend more time correcting all this in GIMP... Hmm. Seems that there is no solution to this issue, except for making mor

Maybe I really should use the journal here. But I haven't yet figured out the reasons to do this ))
